I mentioned to CSticco how I found it interesting that certain things got lost in translation - namely how Blot acquired lips, the peach it’s holding (which I coloured as an apple), and the smallest of the demons’ thumb, which was originally intended as a chunk of flesh.
This leaves me wondering what the results would’ve been if the project included a longer chain of artists and makes me want to experiment further with similar projects.
Ha! I’m simultaneously embarrassed and fascinated at giving Blot lips. Check out Tardigrad and CSticco if you haven’t already- two fantastic comrades of mine with the most delightful art.
This was absolutely riveting to participate in. there’s nothing quite like being able to kick back and focus on one part of the artistic process at a time to really hone skills, try new things, and get an intimate glimpse into what your peers’ processes are like.
Gather your friends and give something like this a go!!
